The Client
A people search website that aggregates data from online and offline sources, has been a client of SearchEva since 2018. The client is one of the largest people search services providers and delivers almost 18 million unique monthly visitors valuable data records about people.
The Problem
This is a great case of the effectiveness of the SEO campaign when it is done purposefully. This company has had 15M overall traffic per month but wanted to improve the search presence with SEO and content marketing.
The Solution
Starting with the SEO audit of the website, we crafted an outreach campaign targeted to improve the presence of the main keyword on the position #51 at a time.
Over the course of this ongoing campaign, we have generated hundreds of links to various money pages on the client’s properties.
We also generated content for the website blog, and did a total change of internal linking structure, to improve the visibility of blog pages.
This has resulted in several position increases for keywords that have a significant impact on revenue.
The Result
Our main focus was targeted at the keyword “reverse phone lookup”, which has 954 000 searches per month in Google, according to ahrefs.com.
According to semrush.com the keyword difficulty of this phrase is 85%, meaning it is highly difficult to rank high for this keyword:
But due to our ongoing link building campaign and robust editorial outreach, we were able to get this page to the 1st page of Google in 16 months since the start of the cooperation. And 3 years later the position is stable in top 5:

The overall organic visibility of the website for the keywords we promoted has also improved from 34% in Jul 2018 to 86% in June 2022.
