The Client
Audext is an audio transcription SaaS software, which provides both automatic and manual transcriptions for a wide variety of use cases. Audext supports various audio formats, including mp3 to text, wav to text, ogg to text, wma to text, mp4 to text. And it’s applicable for a wide range of industries: educations, researchers, journalists, interviews, business, meetings, podcasts.
The Problem
We started promotion of this SaaS company from scratch. It didn’t have any links, and the domain was new. The goal was to get the website to the top using white hat SEO techniques and keep the result.
The Solution
Since the domain was new and MVP of the product was still in progress, we warmed up the domain for 6 months prior to the launch to smooth out the sandbox period of a new website. It is a period when a new website cannot get to the top pages of Google approx.. for a year since launch.
After the launch we used high-quality outreach, crowd marketing and comparison websites to get traffic to the website.
To the outreach campaign I include:
- guest posting on high quality relevant websites;
- link inclusion into existing posts;
- reciprocal link building (personal method to hide the trail for google);
- etc.
Apart from the outreach we tested various traffic acquisition techniques:
- Q&A websites such as Quora and Reddit;
- B2B traffic generation via LinkedIn;
- Facebook groups.
We also did multilingual SEO promoting Audext globally – in Brazil, USA, Turkey, United Kingdom, Australia etc.
The Result
In 1.5 years since start we got top ranks in Google for a number of competitive keywords – their keyword difficulty is 50 and higher:
The number of website visits also grew exponentially:
Now 80% of users of this website come from organic Google search.
We also worked on improving on-page SEO to increase ranks, and achieved unprecedented indicators such as 9.38% of bounce rate.
Additionally, SEO traffic was steadily growing by 15% – 20% from month to month.
